In this video I will define and explain the 2 definitions of the 1st Law of Thermodynamics. 1) The change in the internal energy (of a gas) is equal to the heat added to the gas MINUS the work done BY the gas. 2) The change in the internal energy (of a gas) is equal to the heat added to the gas ADDED the work done ON the gas.
