Description:

In this video I will discuss the volcanic activities on Venus. 1. Meteor craters indicate that the entire surface of Venus is about 300-600 million years old. 2. There are massive lava flows across huge regions of the surface. 3. 85% of the impact craters appear pristine. 4. Subsequent readings measure large fluctuations in SO2 and CH4 concentrations. 5. Infrared readings indicate occasional “hot spot”. 6. Lighting may be cause by atmospheric dust caused by outgassing. 7. Sulphuric acid and sulphur dioxide levels are high.
