In this video I will explain the 3 main vibrational mode of the 2 most important greenhouse gases, water vapor and carbon dioxide (CO2) in the Earth atmosphere. Together, these 2 gases make up 98-99% of the greenhouse gases. The 3 modes are symmetric stretch, anti-symmetric stretch, and bend mode.
