In this video I will explain how could ice exist on the surface of Mercury when temperatures varies from a high of daytime temperature of 800 degrees F (427 degrees C) to nighttime temperature of -290 degrees F (-180 degrees C); and with virtually no atmosphere. I will also explain what is obliquity (axial tilt), where did the ice come from, and how organic compounds help with retaining ice on the surface of Mercury.
